\small to fit regular font size

Maybe LaTeX is made in Texas (if so I won't "mess" with them), but their regular size is a bit big.

To compensate, put a \small infront:

One time I found that my LaTeX equation was too big for the Equation box!

What to do is to take remove the box (and the close div tags)

Then it will look like this:

LaTeX endash

Using http://hostmath.com/ I found that the hyphen on the keyboard produces a space emdash space in LaTeX

However, by adding \text it nicely changes it into an endash with no surrounding spaces!

Youtube and Google+

You post your YouTube to a specific group of people privately when you have Google+ through circles or individuals.

Just make the video private, and then choose which circle, or type email addresses.

Note: If you want to share it with a community but not exactly privately, you can make it unlisted and post it. Otherwise, if you want to make it private, share it with a circle that has the same membership as the group, and then post it to the community so it will appear on the community page.

Go to a specific slide during a PowerPoint presentation

When in Slideshow mode, you can go to a specific slide number by typing that number on the keyboard and then hitting the Enter Key.

When I tried this the first time there was about a 20 second delay. I thought it didn't work. But next time I looked at my screen, the slide I was trying to go to was showing! Every time after that it always worked immediately, even after closing and re-opening PowerPoint.

See this and other shortcuts here.
