Booking a T115 edit suite

To book a video/audio edit suite inT115,

1. go to http://mtroyal.libcal.com/booking/start, pick a date, time (up to 3 hours), continue  





2. Type in your name, email address, who the reservation is for, and submit for booking 





3. You will get an email, click the first confirmation link






4. Click Yes






5. You will get a confirmation of what you booked. It will also appear on your Google calendar






6. If you later want to cancel, click the second cancel link






7. Click Yes






8. You'll see a confirmation that you have cancelled

Lost special phone ring?

Sometimes the phone ring file gets corrupted, and you only get the default ring.

Here's how to reset it.

1. Click the settings button



2. Choose 4 Security Configuration
3. Choose 5 Trust List
4. Choose 2 ITL File
5. Hit the **# keys
6. Choose unlock
7. Choose erase
8. Wait for reboot
9. Use phone same as before

The new way to print docs at document services

1. Login to MyMRU, If you get this Not Found error, just click the MRU logo, 







go to the Employee tab and scroll down and click Printsys












2. Register





3. Don't use the same password as your MRU password because this is an external service 





4. Login







5. Create a new project








6. upload a file, you will see it above, then click next 






7. choose how many copies and whether you want double-sided or not







8. scroll to the bottom, and confirm request

You will be asked for a FOAP number (that has to be put in again every time). Be sure to include the appropriate hyphens.

Microsoft Home Use Policy on 2 computers

You are allowed to have your Microsoft Home Use copy of Microsoft Office on 2 computers, but only one purchase.

When you purchase and download Office you will get an email to initiate the download, and then another with the licence number. Keep these emails for when you want to download them on to a second computer. If not you can always phone Microsoft (1-877-248-1220) and get the emails sent to you again.
